YSTECH is expanding its activities through the integration of the expertise developed within YourscienceBC, strengthening the company’s capabilities in space engineering and technology deployment.
Until now, YSTECH’s activities have primarily focused on the development of proprietary technologies, including SMITH and advanced secure-system architectures. The integration of YourscienceBC adds a complementary engineering dimension, extending YSTECH’s activities across the full pathway from scientific concept to operational deployment.
The expanded company will support organisations developing technologies for space by helping them answer a fundamental engineering question: what is required to make this technology work reliably in the intended space environment?
This includes the definition of mission and system requirements, assessment of space compatibility, identification of appropriate environmental testing and qualification strategies, payload and experimental-system design, evaluation of manufacturing processes for operation in space, and integration with flight platforms.
The objective is not simply to provide consultancy, but to establish a technically rigorous route from an initial technology or scientific concept to a system that can be tested, qualified and ultimately deployed.
At the same time, YSTECH will continue to develop its own proprietary technologies and intellectual property. These two activities — Technology Development and Space Engineering & Advisory — now form the two complementary pillars of the company.
Together, they reflect a common objective: reducing the distance between technological innovation and operational implementation.
